Job Title: Partner Abuse Intervention Program Facilitator

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a skilled and compassionate Partner Abuse Intervention Program Facilitator to join our team. As a key member of our social services department, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals affected by domestic violence.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic professional to facilitate our Partner Abuse Intervention Program. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of domestic violence dynamics and be able to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to share their experiences. Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate group sessions and provide individual support to clients affected by domestic violence
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners and other Salvation Army units
  • Provide referrals and advocacy services to clients as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including case notes and statistical data
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (human services, social work, etc.)
  • 40-hour domestic violence training or completion plan
  • 20-hour partner abuse intervention training or completion plan
  • Previous experience in domestic violence work (preferred)
