Partner Abuse Intervention Program Facilitator

At The Salvation Army Central Territory, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Partner Abuse Intervention Program Facilitator to join our team. As a key member of our social services department, you will play a vital role in providing critical support services to individuals affected by domestic violence.
Job Summary:The Partner Abuse Intervention Program Facilitator will be responsible for delivering evidence-based programs to individuals who have been abusive in their relationships. You will work closely with our team to provide a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their behavior and develop healthy relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver partner abuse intervention programs to clients, utilizing a trauma-informed approach.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners, social services, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive support system for clients.
- Provide case management services, including assessment, goal setting, and monitoring progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in domestic violence prevention and intervention.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of program policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology.
- 40 hours of domestic violence training or completion of a plan for training.
- 20 hours of partner abuse intervention training or completion of a plan for training.
- Previous experience in domestic violence work is preferred.
