Respiratory Therapist RRT PRN

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist RRT PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a vital part of our patient care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the respiratory needs of patients and develop and implement the Respiratory Care Plan.
- Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
- Monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation and respond to emergent patient situations.
- Assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
Requirements:
- Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
- American Heart Association BLS health care provider certification.
- Graduate of Respiratory Care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
- Frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and moving equipment.
