Respiratory Therapist RRT Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a vital part of our patient care team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the respiratory needs of patients and develop and implement the Respiratory Care Plan.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, and monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
  • Apply and operate acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
  • Maintain all department and hospital records, and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given.
Requirements:
  • Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
  • American Heart Association BLS health care provider certification.
  • Graduate of Respiratory Care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
