Respiratory Therapist RRT Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist RRT, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the respiratory needs of patients and develop and implement the Respiratory Care Plan.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, including the application and operation of acute care ventilators.
  • Monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
  • Maintain accurate records and enter information into the hospital computer.
Requirements:
  • Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
  • American Heart Association BLS healthcare provider certification.
  • Graduate of a Respiratory Care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
