Your Role's Purpose:

The Client Service Representative (CSR) is essential in supporting Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) who entrust their clients' assets to Fidelity. Collaborating with an operations team, the CSR processes forms submitted to Fidelity and partners with Client Service Managers (CSMs) who serve as the primary contact for all service and operational requirements of the firms in their portfolio. Responsibilities include resolving issues, managing advisor communications, and providing phone support. Your objectives encompass achieving quality and productivity metrics in areas such as problem resolution and effective customer service. CSRs are expected to contribute positively to the workplace environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and shared success.

Career Advancement:

CE Custody categorizes its firms into three tiers:
  • Core: Engages with smaller advisors on our platform
  • Preferred: Works with mid-market advisors
  • Premium: Collaborates with the largest firms on our platform
While direct hiring into the Client Manager role occurs, most positions are filled through internal career progression. The various Client Manager roles include:
  • Client Manager I - (Grade 4) in our Core segment, primarily sourced from the CSR role, providing support to advisory firms managing up to $150M in assets.
  • Client Manager II - (Grade 5) in our Preferred segment, typically hired from Client Manager I, supporting firms managing up to $1.5B in assets.
  • Client Manager III - (Grade 6) in Premium, sourced from Client Manager II, focusing on firms with over $1B in assets.
Our commitment is to nurture and promote our internal associates while enhancing their skills through targeted external hiring. There are also various roles available for progression from our service teams, including:
  • Support roles in our Central Control Team
  • Project Management positions in Implementations and Transitions
  • Leadership opportunities such as Operations Manager or Senior Director
