Product Marketing Director

Specright Inc. is seeking a seasoned Product Marketing Director to drive the growth and success of our Specification Management platform. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing product marketing strategies that resonate with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lay the foundation of our product marketing function, building a team that will drive customer engagement and retention.
- Capture the voice of our customers and disseminate it across the organization through customer stories and case studies.
- Identify, refine, and roll out key customer segments, personas, and use cases, enabling our sales, customer success, and engineering teams to effectively target and serve our customers.
- Develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas.
- Understand and document our buyer's journey, including where they get information and the who, what, when, and why behind their decisions, and drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn.
- Build a relationship with our product team to collaborate on overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and be responsible for communicating across the entire organization.
- Work with our Web and Content teams to continuously optimize website content and user experience to drive engagement and improve conversion rates.
- Develop adoption campaigns in partnership with our Demand Generation team, focused on expanding existing customer usage of Specright and platform adoption.
- Partner closely with our Sales Enablement team to develop compelling sales collateral, tailored messaging, and training materials that resonate with our target buyers.
- Monitor key competitors and deeply understand our position in the market, developing messaging that enables us to win and partnering with Sales Enablement on battlecard development.
- Plan the quarterly launches of new product features and manage the cross-functional implementation of the launch plan.
- Develop content and collateral to support our sales team, train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users, develop internal tools and external collateral, and teach them how and when to use it.
- Develop product-based KPIs to increase customer engagement and retention rates.
- Lead product packaging strategy and align with sales on pricing.
- Occasional travel to HQ to meet with product and engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of product marketing experience in B2B enterprise SaaS.
- Ability to take complex concepts and break them down simply for various audiences.
- Adaptability, curiosity, and a growth mindset.
- Ability to both drive high-level strategy and execute detailed plans.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, email, and organizational skills.
- Ability to both see the big picture and be detail-oriented - a great writer, speaker, and listener.
- A drive for both personal and team success.
- Product Marketing Alliance Certification or Reforge Product Marketing certification ideal.
