Position Responsibilities:


Oversee the evaluation of extensive systems, formulate testing strategies, and enhance quality assurance methodologies utilizing Internet and Web technologies such as Apache, HTTP, XML, HTML, Load Balancing, and DNS.

Construct tests employing Java and Shell Scripts within a Linux framework, document and manage the implementation of both manual and automated tests for intricate systems, and assess mobile device development kits and frameworks.

Devise and establish automated testing scenarios for mobile device graphical user interfaces using test automation tools like VNC Robot and Java.

Design, develop, and execute quality assurance test scenarios and support evaluations for large-scale, distributed software solutions utilizing Java, including both white and black box testing.

Collaborate closely with engineers, business stakeholders, and customer service teams throughout the development and testing phases, including requirements gathering and design.

Advise project management and development teams on technical matters concerning the planning, development, implementation, and modification of testing protocols.

Utilize functional specifications to strategize, create, or approve test plans, test scenarios, and automated testing cases. Provide consistent, detailed status updates on project advancement, including executed test cases, identified bugs, and resolved issues.

40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $119,122/year to $160,000/year

Basic Qualifications

Position Requirements:


Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline and one year of experience in the job offered or a related field.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline and five years of experience in the job offered or a related field as equivalent to the Master's degree and one year of experience.

Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s):

Developing tests for large-scale software systems using Java and Shell Scripts, in a Windows, UNIX, or Linux environment; and Documenting and coordinating the deployment of manual and automated tests for complex systems.

Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week.#0000
