Job Summary:

As a key member of the NEFCO Corp team, the Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to distribution operations, ensuring seamless execution of receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatching of construction supply materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment, including picking, checking, and packing of materials
  • Collaborate with the Inbound/Inventory Manager to maintain accurate inventory levels and minimize errors
  • Oversee the processing of parcel package shipments for customer delivery
  • Provide a motivating work environment, promoting high performance and standards among staff
  • Communicate company policies and procedures, administering corrective action as necessary
  • Foster teamwork and communication among staff to achieve operational goals
  • Assume responsibility for company projects related to warehouse operations
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safe work practices
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial warehousing/distribution operations
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • High school diploma (or equivalent); college degree preferred
  • Proficiency in NEFCO's ERP software system
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods, work in various climate conditions, and safely lift up to 75 lbs.
