As an Event Marketing Specialist, you will work closely with the Marketing and Event Production teams to transform creative concepts into reality.

Engage in a vibrant setting that combines marketing expertise with practical experience in event organization and promotions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Crafting and implementing captivating social media initiatives across multiple platforms.
  • Developing and overseeing social content schedules consistently.
  • Evaluating performance metrics to identify new avenues for social media improvement.
  • Assisting during events by overseeing social media interactions and operational tasks.
  • Providing customer engagement through social media surveillance.
  • Investigating the latest digital trends for strategic application.
  • Keeping digital influencer and media contact lists current.
  • Assembling a collection of images and videos for marketing use.
  • Supporting the planning of various events such as concerts, family gatherings, festivals, and more.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Coordinating event logistics before and after the event.
  • Managing registration processes and tracking attendee engagement.
  • Overseeing promotional materials and social media accounts.
  • Facilitating vendor registration and evaluating event success post-implementation.
  • Collaborating with event sponsors and partners to fulfill their promotional requirements.
  • Distributing marketing collateral and promoting events in the local area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to commit to a defined number of hours weekly.
  • Flexible availability for work, including weekends and holidays based on event needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and others.
  • Strong communication skills and the capability to work effectively in a team or independently.
  • Skilled in managing deadlines and juggling multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and enthusiastic in approach to responsibilities.
  • Organized, independent, and proficient in multitasking.
  • Experience in hospitality or entertainment is a plus.
