Athletic Training Support Specialist

Job Summary:

The Athletic Training Support Specialist will provide administrative and technical support to the athletic training staff in all aspects of student-athlete healthcare. This role is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the athletic training facility, including opening and closing procedures, pre-practice and game set-ups, and enforcing facility rules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance of the athletic training facility, including cleaning and inventory management.
  • Support student-athlete treatments and rehabs, including updating rehab sheets as needed.
  • Assist in athletic competition coverage, including pre-game and post-game procedures.
  • Provide administrative support, including filing paperwork and answering phone calls.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • CPR-First aid certification is required and must be maintained.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
