We are currently seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the appropriateness of prescribed medication therapies and collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, nursing staff, and other medical professionals.
  • Provide consultation and education to patients regarding their medication regimens.
  • Supervise and guide the work of pharmacy technicians, externs, interns, residents, students, and new practitioners, serving as a mentor and role model.
  • Interpret prescriptions, compound and dispense medications, and maintain accurate records related to medication therapy, prescriptions, patient charges, medical records, and inventory management.

Qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
  • Valid Idaho Pharmacist License.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of a PGY1 residency.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
