Annual Fund and Membership Development Manager

The John Michael Kohler Arts Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Annual Fund and Membership Manager to join its development team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a world-renowned museum.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive annual fund and membership strategy to broaden, retain, and upgrade the member and donor bases.
- Create and execute a donor and member communications and stewardship plan to foster a philanthropic connection.
- Design and manage fundraising events, including the biennial gala, to engage and inspire donors and members.
- Monitor and evaluate membership benefits, ensuring they align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Manage the expense budget for membership, events, and annual fund, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Supervise the Development Coordinator in fulfilling member benefits, gift entry, and gift acknowledgments.
- Maintain accurate member/donor and member/donor prospect records in the CRM system.
- Bachelor's degree or 4-8 years of equivalent experience in a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in membership, annual fundraising, and events planning and execution.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to integrate donor-centric messaging into fundraising materials.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, using data to inform planning and decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with customer relationship management software (Salesforce, Blackbaud, etc.).
The position is office/art gallery based, with a moderate noise level. Occasional work may be required inside or outside at events, with moderate to loud noise levels. Hours of work include daytime hours Monday-Friday and occasional Saturday and Sunday to meet staffing and/or event needs.
