Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Office Coordinator/Patient Registration Part-Time to join our team at Anesthesia Practice Consultants P.C. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, managing patient records, and ensuring seamless scheduling processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Greeting and Registration: Warmly greet patients, family members, and visitors, ensuring a positive first impression of our practice.
  • Confidentiality and Data Security: Safeguard patient information by completing and maintaining accurate medical records, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries, and resolving any concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule procedures and office visits, verifying times, preparing charts, pre-arrival, and consent forms to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communication and Phone Etiquette: Answer phone calls in a courteous and professional manner, responding to patient inquiries, and directing calls to the appropriate staff member.
  • Financial Transactions: Process up-front collections during check-in or check-out processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
  • Insurance Verification and Authorizations: Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations to ensure seamless billing and payment processes.
  • Patient Demographic Updates: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient demographic information, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Referral Pathway and Scheduling: Facilitate open communication with referring physicians and patients to ensure timely scheduling and appointment coordination.
  • Document Preparation: Provide patients with necessary documents for their appointments, ensuring they are fully informed and prepared.
  • Professional Development: Participate in educational opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma required; college-level degree preferred.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and precision.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quality, independent decisions in a timely manner.
