This role will provide essential support for a contract with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), specifically within the Office of Civil Rights (OCR), Strategic Program Operations (SPO) Division. The OCR is tasked with overseeing the implementation and evaluation of laws, policies, and regulations that ensure equal employment opportunities (EEO).
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Management: Independently execute administrative management tasks, applying relevant policies, advising staff, maintaining databases, and preparing necessary documentation. This includes drafting correspondence and reports while providing guidance to both managers and employees regarding administrative services.
- Organizational Liaison: Act as the primary contact for supplies, property, and office relocations. This involves coordinating administrative functions related to supplies and property, conducting equipment utilization surveys, and advising on administrative procedures.
- Facility and Supply Administration: Oversee facility services and supply management, including the establishment and maintenance of systems for tracking purchases and inventory, as well as coordinating office relocations.
- Administrative Program Planning: Analyze existing programs and support both long-term and short-term administrative planning activities. Develop and implement procedures and guidelines for organizational services.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree with three years of relevant professional experience, or a High School diploma with five years of professional experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel as needed, including both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- Possession of an active SECRET security clearance or the ability to obtain one, requiring U.S. Citizenship.
- Proficiency in CPR certification to ensure readiness in case of medical emergencies.
- Extensive knowledge of administrative management principles, including travel, procurement, and human resources.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all organizational levels.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks with varying deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Chrome tools, along with experience in managing databases and preparing administrative documents.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in supporting federal government agencies.
