Sales Opportunity

This Regional Sales Manager position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $75,000, plus an uncapped commission structure. Your hard work will directly impact your rewards, allowing you to earn unlimited commissions based on your sales performance.

  • We offer comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability subject to plan terms. You will be eligible for these benefits from your first day of employment.
  • You will also be eligible for our 401(k) plan on the first day of the month following 30 days of service, with a company match of 4% on employee deferral of 5% or more.
  • You will accrue 18 paid time off (PTO) days per calendar year.
  • Additionally, you will receive ten (10) company-paid holidays per calendar year.

Job Responsibilities

As an Executive Territory Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing orders for innovative retail and semi-automatic scales across the Western territory. This role requires a thorough assessment of the market landscape and creating and implementing strategic initiatives that align with our ambitious goals. You will maintain, cultivate, and expand the customer base within the assigned territory.

Key Accountabilities

  • You will direct sales activities to dealers, distributors, and key end users, including training and personal visits to key contacts within the territory.
  • You will cultivate and nurture relationships with strategic end users to result in the specification of Yamato products by those accounts.
  • You will assess, create, and implement strategies and tactics needed to achieve quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • You will cooperate and coordinate with all departments within Yamato as required.
  • You will travel approximately 51% for business purposes.

Additional Responsibilities

  • You will provide field intelligence on competitive activity, changes in markets, distribution, and pricing as well as input on customer preferences and product features.
  • You will provide recommendations for marketing activities to increase sales.
  • You will update and maintain CRM ensuring customer information and sales activity is accurate.
  • You will participate in weekly or biweekly meetings with RSMs via Teams or in person.
  • You will participate in sales meetings via Teams or in person at Yamato in Grafton, WI, or as deemed necessary.
  • You will attend USA and international trade shows as directed.

Requirements

  • You must have multi-state territory experience.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • You must be computer literate in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word, and Teams virtual meetings.
  • Epicor knowledge is a plus.
  • You must have a valid driver's license and be insurable.
