About the Role

Mott MacDonald is a leading engineering and consulting firm that is actively growing its dams and levees practice in North America. We are seeking a highly skilled Dam Engineer to join our team in the West USA region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support preliminary and detailed engineering design and associated documents on a variety of dam-related projects.
  • Conduct geotechnical investigations, including test borings, instrumentation systems, and evaluation of monitoring and testing data.
  • Perform data analysis, organization, and interpretation in support of dam/levee design, and inspection, evaluation, and rehabilitation projects.
  • Develop hydraulic and water impoundment and flood routing analysis and spillway modeling and design.
  • Perform construction assessments and/or inspections.
Requirements
  • BS in Civil Engineering is required. Master's Degree or PhD is a plus.
  • Engineer-in-Training required. Professional Engineer licensed in CA is preferred.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in geotechnical, hydrology, or civil engineering related to the tasks described above.

  • Competitive salary range: $103,000 - $113,000.
