Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Trainer to join our team at Texana Center. As a Residential Trainer, you will work directly with children who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing support and guidance in their daily lives.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to manage challenging behaviors. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing behavior analysis programs, providing social skills education, and ensuring the overall well-being of our residents. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional care, we encourage you to apply.

Salary: $15.00/hour

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid Texas Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Ability to perform SAMA and CPR

Job-Related Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds, push, stoop, carry, bend, reach above shoulder level, grasp, hear, walk, and sit
  • Must be able to see, write, operate office equipment, and operate a motor vehicle
