Job Title: Overnight Staff

At InVision Human Services, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Overnight Staff to join our team. As a key member of our residential care team, you will provide direct support to individuals with mental health and developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct Support: Provide personalized support to individuals in a manner consistent with our organization's mission and philosophy.
  • Customized Support Plans: Implement all aspects of the Customized Support Plan for individuals during the overnight shift, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Medical Care: Provide emergent medical care and ensure the overall health and well-being of individuals during the overnight shift.
  • Household Management: Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and security of the home or property, adhering to InVision Human Services standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation: Accurately document medical appointments, procedures, and medication administration, as well as communicate status to the team.
  • Emergency Response: Actively and appropriately respond to emergency situations, utilizing the emergency on-call system if required.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma/GED; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: One year working with individuals with mental health/developmental disabilities or in a related human service capacity; experience with residential and/or vocational service provision a plus.
  • Skills: Ability to comprehend and apply basic mathematical concepts, maintain training compliance, and utilize electronic mediums and computer programs.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and taste or smell; occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
