Job Overview

Ardmore Home Design seeks an experienced Sales Associate to join our team in the New York Design Center. As a key member of our showroom team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and support to interior designers and clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new showroom for our exclusive Burton James brand. We're looking for someone with a proven track record in sales, passion for the interior design industry, and a desire to make a mark in an innovative space.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to work independently. They will also be able to lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally travel to trade shows and industry events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet clients and provide exceptional customer service
  • Handle inquiries via phone and email, providing detailed product information and solutions
  • Generate quotes, orders, deliveries, tracking, and sample management for seamless client interactions
  • Document and prepare items for approval, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with the home office to ensure timely order processing and follow-up
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of Showroom and upholstery sales experience
  • Some college studies in a related field or relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated experience within the home furnishings industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving attitude
  • Positive and friendly disposition with the ability to foster customer relationships
Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $75,000-80,000 per year, plus commissions. This role also offers opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic and fast-paced company.
