**Job Description Overview**

The Transportation Sales Executive plays a key role in driving revenue growth and meeting company sales and marketing objectives. As a seasoned professional with 8+ years of experience in the transportation industry, you will be responsible for developing business relationships with new prospects and active customers, cultivating dedicated leads through prospecting methods, and creating strategic partnerships.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Sales Leadership: Analyze new business opportunities, ensure optimal operational alignment, maximum efficiencies, and sustainable results; achieve sales forecast and profit margins; develop strategic objectives with a solid growth plan and formula for meeting and exceeding sales goals; foster a winning culture exemplified by a positive attitude, dedicated work ethic, and team collaboration.
  • Market Leadership: Build a network of customer and industry contacts critical to company growth and success; establish relationships with key accounts and assess current/future opportunities; exhibit strong operational knowledge of dedicated logistics and competitive trends within the transportation industry; participate in weekly huddles with the executive team to measure and monitor objectives and sales quotas.

**Requirements:**

  • Negotiate fair market prices at acceptable profit levels through collaboration with customers and internal pricing analysts; effectively onboard new customers through a thorough explanation of services, pricing, expectations, and support mechanisms; communicate potential gaps in operational resources with the end goal of improving, meeting, and exceeding expectations.
  • Determine and effectively communicate customer requirements to operational support at the time of onboarding, including equipment needs and hours of operation; conduct outbound sales visits, calls, and emails to engage with prospects, understand their business needs, and present our services as a solution.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their unique requirements and tailoring solutions to meet their needs; develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth, including pricing, promotions, and discounts.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential customers, highlighting the benefits and value of our services; monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and stay ahead of the competition.

**What We Offer:**
