Position Summary:
The Nurse Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing and guiding nursing personnel to ensure the delivery of high-quality client care and effective team performance. This position aligns with HealthRIGHT 360's mission, values, and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision, training, and mentorship to nursing supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and performance expectations among direct reports.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Facilitate training sessions and resource allocation for nursing staff.
  • Support nursing supervisors in recruitment and staffing processes.
  • Maintain effective communication with management regarding employee matters.
  • Organize and lead team meetings to enhance client care and staff development.
  • Assist in triaging client medical concerns in collaboration with community medical partners.

Clinical Oversight:

  • Ensure clinical supervision of nursing services provided by staff within their scope of practice.
  • Guarantee that nursing staff deliver trauma-informed and culturally competent care.
  • Oversee documentation to meet quality management standards and compliance requirements.
  • Manage crisis situations related to service delivery and ensure proper documentation.
  • Facilitate client case conferences as needed.
  • Encourage collaboration among all members of the behavioral health team.

Administrative Duties:

  • Ensure treatment plans align with the organization's mission and strategic goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and collaborators.
  • Ensure compliance with programmatic requirements in collaboration with management.
  • Monitor nursing staff adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Consult with management regarding client assignments and workload distribution.
  • Oversee lab orders and ensure timely review of results.

Direct Service Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing services as necessary, including crisis intervention and assessments.
  • Assist in medication management and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Maintain accurate medication tracking for patient adherence.
  • Coordinate pharmacy services and oversee prescription management.
  • Ensure documentation is completed for all client interactions.
  • Provide educational consultations regarding medication to staff and interns.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse license in California with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a behavioral health or community health setting.
  • At least seven years of nursing experience, preferably in community health.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (CPR).
  • Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and trauma-informed care.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with diverse populations, including homeless and LGBTQ communities.
  • Familiarity with Federally Qualified Health Centers and relevant regulations.
  • Strong foundation in Quality Improvement practices.
