Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Assistant to join our team at Prequel Solutions in the Pittsburgh area. This 16-month contract position offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading financial services company.

Salary and Benefits

The hourly pay rate for this role ranges from $22-$27 per hour, depending on experience. Our hybrid working model allows for a balance of remote and onsite work, with excellent health benefits starting on day one. Additionally, we offer a 401k plan with matching contributions and a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30am-5pm.

Responsibilities

This role involves coordinating various HR tasks, including:

  • Preparing and distributing bonus eligibility, nomination, and determination communications;
  • Coordinating performance appraisals to ensure compliance with company guidelines;
  • Preparing Portfolio Manager compensation disclosure statements;
  • Distributing new hire and termination benefit-related communications;
  • Prepared and distributed benefit-related required notices;
  • Producing and routing Change Of Status Forms for approval;
  • Updating compensation control documents, including job code updates, job descriptions, and job family.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • At least one year of experience working in a professional office environment, preferably two years in human resources administration;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word, Excel, and mail merge capabilities.
