Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal to join our team at Trueline. As a key member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our attorneys in the defense of insurance-related claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain case chronologies, including researching and summarizing relevant documents and information.
- Schedule and coordinate depositions, mediations, inspections, and meetings with clients, witnesses, and other counsel.
- Manage and monitor discovery deadlines, depositions, hearings, and other events, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Review, analyze, and organize document production by opposing parties and co-defendants, including identifying and addressing potential issues or concerns.
- Respond to and subpoena records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Draft discovery responses, notices, basic motions, orders, and settlement agreements, as needed.
- Prepare records, assemble exhibits, pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare open records requests, as required.
- Attend selected depositions and meetings with clients, witnesses, and other counsel, as needed.
- Handle state and federal e-filing, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Organize and manage electronic files for large, document-intensive cases, ensuring efficient and secure storage and retrieval.
Requirements:
- Associate degree and/or paralegal certification.
- 3-5 years of construction defect experience.
- Excellent scheduling proficiency.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Organized, personable, and enjoy working in the legal field.
