Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive legal memoranda.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Manage discovery and depositions with efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Interview witnesses and clients with professionalism and tact.
  • Compile and organize evidence with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with trial preparation and coordination.
  • Calendaring court and other case deadlines with precision and reliability.
  • Assist with case management and scheduling with organization and attention to detail.
  • Gather and organize case-related documents with efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a paralegal in insurance defense, construction defect, and/or commercial litigation.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have eDiscovery experience (Relativity experience preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
