Babich & Assoc. is seeking a highly skilled legal assistant with paralegal capabilities to support two litigation partners in their insurance defense practice.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in litigation, with a focus on insurance, construction defect, commercial, premises, and general civil litigation.
Responsibilities will include handling Federal and State Court dockets, preparing appellate court briefs, indexes, footnotes, and case citing process, as well as assisting with trial preparation, electronic filing, and client communication.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products, and have the ability to learn litigation management programs.
Additional responsibilities will include maintaining calendars, scheduling details, interacting with clients and third-party vendors, and preparing reports to insurance carriers and clients.
This is an immediate availability position.
