Insurance Defense Paralegal Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team at LHH in Dallas. As a key member of our insurance defense team, you will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys in complex litigation matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive legal memoranda.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Manage discovery and depositions with efficiency and organization.
  • Interview witnesses and clients with professionalism and tact.
  • Compile and organize evidence with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including calendaring court and other case deadlines.
  • Provide exceptional support with case management and scheduling.
  • Gather and organize case-related documents with precision and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal in insurance defense, construction defect, and/or commercial litigation.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
