Defense Litigation Paralegal Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions in Dallas. As a key member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for conducting legal research, preparing legal memoranda, and drafting and filing pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive legal memoranda.
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents with precision and attention to detail.
- Manage discovery and depositions, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients and opposing counsel.
- Interview witnesses and clients, gathering essential information to support case development.
- Compile and organize evidence, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Assist with trial preparation, ensuring seamless coordination with attorneys and other team members.
- Calendaring court and other case deadlines, guaranteeing timely compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist with case management and scheduling, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing delays.
- Gather and organize case-related documents, maintaining a secure and accessible repository.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a paralegal in insurance defense, construction defect, and/or commercial litigation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Experience with eDiscovery Management Software, ensuring seamless integration with our case management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and a collaborative mindset.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $92,000.00 per year
