Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Food Service Worker II to join our team at Confluence Health. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to patients, staff, and visitors in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to provide excellent customer service and support.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
  • One year of related work experience in the hospitality, retail, or healthcare service fields.
  • Valid Department of Health Food Handlers permit issued by the State of Washington.
  • Knowledge of HACCP food handling standards and guidelines.
  • Ability to understand and apply business math as required by the duties of the position.
  • Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English sufficient to perform the duties of the position.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting. The employee must be able to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.

The employee must be able to work in a variety of temperatures, including heat and cold, and be able to work in a noisy environment.
