Job Summary

As a Lead Clerk, you will assist management with the operations of the store by performing clerk duties in the designated department, leading by example, and assisting the department manager in general department operations as directed. You will provide customer service by performing the duties of a clerk in the designated department, handle customer complaints and requests, and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service by performing the duties of a clerk in the designated department.
  • Handle customer complaints and requests in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the department, storage area, equipment, and retail displays.
  • Assist the department manager in general department operations as directed.
  • Perform other related work as assigned or needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, and move rapidly.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Food Handlers Certification (Per State Laws).
