Welcome to Community Human Services. We are currently seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee our transitional housing program, Safe Passage, which serves homeless youth aged 18-24 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough client assessments to identify needs and develop personalized plans
  • Collaborate with clients to set and achieve goals, promoting self-sufficiency and independence
  • Coordinate and implement life skills education activities, including counseling and case management
  • Supervise a team of part-time support counselors, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations to enhance program services
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure program effectiveness and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work
  • Two years of related work experience in a healthcare setting or youth services
  • Strong program development skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities
