Position: Application Packaging Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish the future direction of application packaging and oversee the lifecycle management of software applications.
  • Assess installation and troubleshooting methodologies for sanctioned software.
  • Develop and uphold client-specific protocols for application endorsement.
  • Prepare client systems and relevant applications for diverse operational environments.
  • Configure systems in accordance with documented standards and practices.
  • Offer system support for modifications and enhancements.
  • Foster and maintain robust relationships with key business solution vendors.
  • Comprehend and comply with security policies and protocols for the Windows client environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Three to five (3-5) years of experience in software support and packaging.
  • Proficiency with Flexera or comparable packaging tools.
  • Experience in software deployment utilizing Intune.
  • Familiarity with packaging software for installation on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
  • Working knowledge of Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and Active Directory.
  • Understanding of Windows security elements and permissions.
  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Considerations:

  • Experience with application version control during upgrades is a plus.
