The Market Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and directing the branch operations, ensuring exceptional service to our members and the community. This position involves the direct supervision of all branch personnel, fostering a team that consistently delivers outstanding member experiences while maintaining the safety and security of the facility. The Market Manager will guide the team in advising members on suitable financial products and services, promoting growth and member retention through strong relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a Sales Leader, ensuring the branch meets and surpasses sales and service objectives. Monitor marketing initiatives, sales activities, and service quality to achieve branch goals.
  • Welcome all members and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Ensure branch operations comply with established policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the hiring, mentoring, and performance evaluation of all staff members.
  • Provide training and support to employees on effective member interactions and service delivery.
  • Ensure staff are knowledgeable about all Credit Union products and services.
  • Continuously assess staffing needs and oversee employee schedules for optimal coverage.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss operations, sales strategies, and staff development.
  • Promote Credit Union programs and actively engage in business development initiatives.
  • Identify member needs and effectively present appropriate Credit Union services to foster new relationships.
  • Represent the Credit Union in community engagements and key activities.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with Segregated Employee Groups (SEG) and Partner Companies (PC).
  • Seek opportunities for process improvements in sales and operations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation of branch operations.
  • Maintain communication with the main office and participate in management meetings.
  • Address escalated member concerns and resolve complex issues promptly.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Assist members with account management and inquiries as needed.
  • Ensure the branch's physical environment is safe and secure for both employees and members.
  • Oversee safety and security protocols and the maintenance of branch facilities.
  • Manage the branch budget in alignment with the Credit Union's strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • A four-year degree in a business or finance-related field is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 8 years of relevant branch management experience, with a focus on member sales and service.
  • Experience in managing a financial institution branch is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Credit Union products and services is preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
