Role Summary
The Campaign Legal Center (CLC) is in search of a Senior Employee Engagement Specialist dedicated to formulating strategies that bolster organizational diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives while enhancing employee satisfaction, morale, and performance. This position entails evaluating and addressing engagement challenges and crafting programs aimed at elevating job satisfaction, retaining talent, and nurturing a positive, equitable, and diverse workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with CLC's DEI Employee Engagement committee to ensure they receive necessary administrative support and resources for effective functioning.
- Oversee projects and recommendations from the DEI Employee Engagement subcommittees, ensuring timely completion.
- Design and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies aligned with CLC's DEI objectives.
- Establish and maintain an open-door policy for employees and the DEI Employee Engagement committee to facilitate communication with management.
- Conduct surveys and collect feedback to gauge employee satisfaction levels.
- Supervise and develop initiatives that recognize and reward employees for outstanding contributions and performance.
- Partner with various departments to create initiatives and programs that enhance employee engagement.
- Organize team-building activities and events.
- Provide training and coaching to managers on strategies to improve employee satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze engagement metrics, offering recommendations for enhancement.
- Assess trends and adjust engagement strategies as necessary.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of DEI principles, best practices, and emerging trends in diversity and inclusion.
- Proven experience in implementing successful DEI strategies and programs.
- Experience in project management and executing organizational solutions.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and tackle challenging assignments.
- Collaborative approach to work.
- High degree of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Proficient in human resource information systems.
- Fully skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
