Business Development Manager

Job Summary
The Business Development Manager position at Alcon is responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion by developing and executing strategic plans to capitalize on high-potential customers. This role requires a consultative sales approach to match Alcon products and services to customer needs, as well as providing product and technical consultation to doctors on the appropriate use of Alcon products.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute a strategic plan and routing schedule for the territory to maximize revenue from high-potential customers.
- Plan and execute pre-booked calls daily to grow sales and shift customer behaviors to dispense Alcon priority products.
- Execute marketing activities and promotions to maximize sales and contribute to the Area team to develop Area sales and Marketing opportunities.
- Manage and prioritize time to effectively achieve business results and participate in District/Regional meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
- The ability to read fluently, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- 2 years sales-related/relevant experience.
Preferred Requirements
- Proven B2B Sales experience.
- Pharma experience.
