Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct maintenance services, repairs, recoveries, and preventative maintenance (PM) on CNC machinery and automated systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting, servicing, and overhauling of major production equipment.
  • Schedule and execute preventative maintenance on CNC lathes, mills, compressors, ovens, and test stands.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work orders.
  • Adhere to all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Arc Flash policies in compliance with NFPA 70E standards.
  • Install and relocate machinery as necessary, employing safe rigging practices.
  • Diagnose and rectify operational issues on various machinery.
  • Replace and rebuild worn or damaged components of production machinery.
  • Assist in the management of hazardous materials.
  • Ensure a safe and organized work environment while adhering to 6S standards.
  • Fabricate machinery guarding as required.

Position Requirements:

Applicants should possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience in CNC machine tool maintenance and repair, demonstrating electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical skills.

Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English is essential, along with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing high and low voltage electrical systems is required.

Experience with safety systems on equipment, including light curtains and safety interlocks, is highly desirable.

Familiarity with PLCs, automated systems, and multi-axis servo systems is necessary.

Ability to recover CNC lathes and mills after operational disruptions is expected.

Experience with various types of production machinery, including autoclaves and HVAC units, is advantageous.

Capability to work collaboratively with contractors and vendors to resolve equipment issues is important.

Applicants must be able to operate forklifts and aerial lifts for facility tasks.

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
