Position Overview:
As a CNC Machining Specialist, your responsibilities will include collaborating within a team and executing the following tasks:
1. Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC milling machines according to specifications and engineering blueprints.
2. Change tools and perform offset adjustments as necessary.
3. Interpret blueprint dimensions accurately.
4. Adhere to machining policies and instructions (MI), QSR, ISO, SOPs, work rules, and safety protocols.
5. Meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards.
Position Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the setup and operation of CNC milling machines.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprint dimensions and utilizing measuring instruments.
- Familiarity with MI's, QSR, ISO, SOPs, work rules, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Makino, HAAS, and DMG milling machines is advantageous.
- Ownership of precision and hand tools is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
The base compensation range for this role is $20 - $33 per hour.
Actual compensation packages are determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
