Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create comprehensive sales plans to meet or exceed quota, including identifying and prioritizing opportunities for assigned high-risk, high-impact existing or potential customers or partners.
- Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Operate as a trusted advisor to customers or potential customers, developing and maintaining strategic working relationships with senior leadership, including those at the executive level.
- Drive Customer Engagement: Leverage expertise and significant best practice knowledge to educate customers and potential customers on the benefits of our solution, drive customer need, and create opportunities.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with sales solution engineers in the development of software demonstrations for customers or potential customers, actively contribute to and participate in software demonstrations.
- Manage Customer Account Information: Record all customer account information in the CRM, including opportunities, commitments, meaningful conversations, customer visits, or sales calls.
- Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Trends: Develop a comprehensive understanding of best practices and market trends, proactively educating and influencing key executives on future business and technical needs, and pursuing opportunities for company expansion and integration.
- Engage with Company Resources: Engage company specialists and support resources as needed to advance opportunities.
- Develop and Maintain Strategic Internal Relationships: Develop and maintain strategic internal working relationships to enhance sales execution.
- Represent the Company at Industry Events: Attend and actively contribute to trade shows to ensure customers or potential customers are participating in company marketing efforts, tailoring plans to meet customer needs.
- Closing and Negotiation: Develop the closing plan and strategy for accounts with key influencers within the account, lead negotiation and contracting process to ensure deals are closed on time, as forecasted.
- Thought Leadership and Mentorship: Operate as an innovative thought leader among the team, contributing to the overall growth and quality of the sales team and processes, serving as a subject matter expert for the sales department and colleagues, consulting on market trends and best practices, mentoring, coaching, and influencing other sales team members.
- Compliance and Data Security: Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy.
- Experience: Significant experience as an Account Manager in a complex environment, preferably with Enterprise Medical Imaging solutions.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Proficient in opportunity management and account planning tools, Microsoft Windows and Office, and excellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact.
- Travel: Up to 50% travel time required.
- Compensation: Base salary range of $137,000-$194,000 and eligible for bonus and benefits.
