Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Recovery Mentor to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to provide guidance, support, and resources to aid in their recovery journey. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about mental health and making a positive impact in their community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing regular check-ins and progress updates.
  • Assist clients in creating and implementing personalized recovery plans.
  • Connect clients with local resources and services that align with their needs and goals.
  • Provide education and support on mental health topics, including self-care, coping strategies, and stress management.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of program initiatives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in mental health, preferably in a peer support or mentoring role.
  • Personal experience with mental illness or substance use disorder is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: $45,000 per year (estimated)
