Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Central Sterile Processing (CSP) Specialist to join our team at Elliot Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for decontaminating, preparing, and sterilizing medical equipment and supplies using advanced techniques and technology.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accurate preparation and sterilization of medical equipment and supplies in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Maintain precise records of steam, sterrad, and biological monitoring to guarantee compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assemble healthcare instrument trays and label them correctly, adhering to established protocols.
  • Promptly report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment and supplies to shift leaders and managers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and phone calls.
Requirements
  • Certified Registered Central Services Technician (CRCST), Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD), or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
