Manufacturing Process Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Optimization Specialist to join our team at Entegee, a leading provider of custom automation solutions.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for defining and developing manufacturing and inspection processes, creating manufacturing routings based on project requirements, and developing work instructions and setup sheets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement manufacturing processes
- Defining inspection requirements to meet customer needs
- Championing process development to improve quality and efficiency
Requirements:
- 5-7+ years of experience in machining, welding, and/or electromechanical assembly
- 3+ years in a defense/aerospace job shop environment
- BS in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and SolidWorks
- Experience with CNC machining, sandblasting/painting/coating/plating, welding, heat treating, assembly, Non-Destructive Testing, Mechanical Testing
- Understanding of GD&T and detailed engineering drawings
- Project management experience
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to obtain security clearance
- Mentoring skills for engineering and shop personnel
- Effective Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis
- ERP/MRP guidelines proficiency
