Position Overview:

ManTech is seeking a driven and customer-focused Data Architect to enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and oversees a robust data infrastructure, ensuring effective data flows and management practices.
  • Creates visual components for databases, including user interfaces and interactive elements, while also producing code libraries and instructional materials for system updates.
  • Evaluates installation options for new databases, assesses requirements for these systems, and identifies opportunities for optimizing existing databases.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in data science or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Significant experience in operations management, administrative management, or project management within the last five years.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
  • 5-10 years of relevant professional experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or in a similar capacity, focusing on data modeling and architectural solutions.
  • Proficient in developing and applying data standards encompassing formats, definitions, structuring, manipulation, tagging, transmission, and management of data.
  • 5-10 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing business applications from concept to production.
  • 5-10 years of experience with data programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, SQL) and data orchestration and integration pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, or similar.
  • Proven ability to effectively engage with major cloud providers.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including Agile and traditional project management methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Certification in Project Management or Program Management Professional.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to maintain a stationary position for 50% of the time.
