Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and oversees a robust data architecture, ensuring efficient data flows and adherence to data management principles.
  • Implements visual components of databases, including user interfaces and interactive elements, while creating documentation and code libraries for system updates.
  • Evaluates installation options for new databases, assesses requirements for database creation, and identifies enhancement opportunities for existing systems.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in data science or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Extensive experience in operations management, administrative management, or project management within the last five years.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines and competing priorities. Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills are essential.
  • 5-10 years of professional experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or in a similar role, focusing on data modeling and architectural solutions.
  • Proficient in data standards, including formats, definitions, structuring, manipulation, tagging, transmission, and management.
  • 5-10 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing business applications from concept to production.
  • 5-10 years of experience with data programming languages (Python, Java, SQL, etc.) and data orchestration and integration pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to effectively engage with major cloud providers.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle, including Agile and traditional project management methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Project Management or Program Management Professional certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
