Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and oversees a robust data architecture, ensuring efficient data flows and management protocols.
  • Creates visual components for databases, including display icons and interfaces, while also producing code libraries and instructional resources for system updates.
  • Evaluates installation strategies for new databases, assesses requirements for new systems, and identifies enhancement opportunities for existing databases.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in data science or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Significant experience in operations management, administrative management, or project management within the last five years.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities. Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills are essential.
  • 5-10 years of professional experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or in a similar role focused on developing data models and architectural solutions.
  • Proficient in data standards, including formats, representation, definition, structuring, manipulation, tagging, transmission, usage, and management.
  • 5-10 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing business applications from concept to production.
  • 5-10 years of experience with data programming languages (such as Python, Java, SQL, etc.) and data orchestration and integration pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like Amazon Web Services, Azure, or similar services.
  • Demonstrated capability to effectively engage with major cloud providers.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including Agile and traditional project management methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Project Management or Program Management Professional certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to maintain a stationary position for 50% of the time.
