Special Education Teacher Position in District of Columbia

We are seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team in the District of Columbia.
Compensation Package$33-$40+ per hour (based on experience)
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
- Providing specialized instruction and direct support to students with varying learning challenges
- Collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success
- Fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all students can thrive
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and adjusting teaching strategies as necessary to maximize educational outcomes
The interview process consists of the following steps:
- Screening Call: A 10-15 minute conversation with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- Zoom Interview: An in-depth discussion with the hiring team
- Resume Review: Conducted by the hiring team
- Offers: Typically extended within 24 hours after the resume review
