Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team in the District of Columbia.

Compensation Package

$33-$40+ per hour (based on experience)

Job Responsibilities

As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Providing specialized instruction and direct support to students with varying learning challenges
  • Collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success
  • Fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all students can thrive
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and adjusting teaching strategies as necessary to maximize educational outcomes
Interview Process

The interview process consists of the following steps:

  1. Screening Call: A 10-15 minute conversation with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
  2. Zoom Interview: An in-depth discussion with the hiring team
  3. Resume Review: Conducted by the hiring team
  4. Offers: Typically extended within 24 hours after the resume review
