Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled and proactive Permanent Immigration Paralegal to enhance our legal team. This role is crucial for managing and preparing immigration cases. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of immigration law, a meticulous approach to detail, and exceptional skills in document preparation. A strong commitment to confidentiality and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential. Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and prepare a diverse array of immigration cases, including employment-based and family-based petitions, as well as deportation matters.
2. Draft, review, and submit various legal documents, including petitions, applications, motions, and briefs.
3. Conduct legal research and remain updated on changes in immigration legislation and procedures.
4. Communicate with clients to collect necessary information and documents, ensuring they are informed about their case status.
5. Uphold strict confidentiality regarding all client information and legal matters.
6. Collaborate with attorneys and fellow paralegals to ensure efficient case management and adherence to filing deadlines.
7. Organize and maintain case files, legal documents, and client records systematically.
8. Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling, managing correspondence, and answering inquiries.

Qualifications:
1. At least 5 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal, ideally within a law firm.
2. Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related discipline; paralegal certification is advantageous.
3. In-depth understanding of immigration law and procedures.
4. Proven experience in preparing and filing a variety of immigration cases.
5. Outstanding document preparation and legal writing capabilities.
6. Strong dedication to confidentiality and legal ethics.
7. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities.
8. Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office applications.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
10. Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
