Construction Project Coordinator

The Project Engineer plays a crucial role in supporting the designated Project Team in various aspects of project execution, including planning, scheduling, documentation management, communication, project delivery, client satisfaction, and financial performance of assigned concrete construction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Project Manager in ensuring that the field personnel have access to the most current drawings and information necessary for successful project execution.
- Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing, and prepare subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Participate in the procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery to the project site.
- Manage submittals, shop drawings, Requests for Information (RFIs), communication, documentation, and overall document control.
- Organize, manage, and distribute Contract Documents, Drawings, and Specifications efficiently.
- Maintain various logs including Weather & Production Logs, Concrete Logs, and Rebar Delivery Logs as required.
- Collaborate with the field team to prepare a three-week lookahead schedule.
- Compile project labor costs and present findings to project management.
- Track project markups and documentation using Bluebeam.
- Attend jobsite meetings, take minutes, and ensure proper documentation.
- Organize and monitor Daily Work Reports.
- Manage Punch-List items effectively.
- Willingness to travel or relocate for on-site project needs.
The ideal candidate will work closely with their assigned Project Manager to achieve project management goals. This position reports directly to the Project Manager with a dotted line to the Project Executive.
Minimum Qualifications- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Plan Grid, Procore, and Microsoft Project.
In addition to the minimum qualifications, candidates with the following skills and experiences may be given preference:
- OSHA Certification.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Tekla.
