Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Education Support Specialist to join our team at Twin Rivers Unified School District. The successful candidate will provide specialized instructional support to individuals and groups of Special Education or Severely Handicapped students.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform specialized instructional support to students with special needs
* Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
* Provide behavioral interventions and health care services as needed
* Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* 48 units of college credit hours or completion of the Paraeducator Proficiency Exam
* One year of experience working with students with special needs
* Valid driver's license, First-Aid card, and CPR certificate

Benefits:

* Full district contribution for 6+ hours/day
* 50% contribution for 4-6 hours/day
