Role Overview:


The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in enhancing the sales, service, and operational aspects of the store, fostering an uplifting atmosphere centered on health and vitality.

This includes working collaboratively with team members, supporting operational processes, and nurturing team development.

Key Responsibilities:
Brand Representation
Acts as a representative of the brand, embodying the company values; collaborates with the leadership team to create an engaging visual presentation that resonates with the fitness-focused clientele.

Develops sales initiatives that improve customer engagement; motivates the team to cultivate enduring relationships through personalized service, product suggestions, and connecting with customers on shared wellness interests.

Assists the Store Manager in crafting consistent event programming that reflects the preferences of the local clientele to enhance brand engagement; aids in executing events alongside fitness and wellness partners.

Ensures a seamless, multi-channel shopping and event experience by leveraging technology and applications.

Leadership + Team Development
Guides the team to prioritize customer service and styling recommendations to achieve performance metrics and store objectives; provides timely and constructive feedback to foster a culture of accountability.

Serves as the manager-on-duty, driving engagement across all areas through effective communication, adaptability, and promoting a collaborative selling atmosphere; demonstrates strong decision-making and multitasking skills.

Assists the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent to build a strong team; facilitates comprehensive onboarding for new hires to establish a solid connection with the brand and customers.

Visual + Operational Excellence
Maintains daily operational standards by actively participating in sales forecasting and supporting scheduling and payroll to ensure an efficient daily workflow.

Utilizes company resources to assess business opportunities in product placement, merchandising, and inventory levels; proactively engages with the local community to identify fitness partnerships and events that will enhance brand presence and sales.

Collaborates with key partners to effectively manage inventory processing, restocking, and product placement while adhering to visual and display standards; ensures timely and accurate processing of orders.

Complies with safety standards, maintains inventory accuracy, minimizes product loss, and upholds all company policies to support store profitability.

Communication + Relationship Building
Leads with an inclusive and people-centric approach; engages employees at all levels to promote open communication, reinforce accountability, and ensure that the team feels valued and supported.

Stays informed and responsive to internal communications while ensuring essential company information reaches all team members; facilitates the sharing of event programming, product knowledge, current trends, visual priorities, and brand messaging through regular team meetings.

Provides insights related to customer experiences regarding products, presentation, and events, and shares feedback with the Store Manager.

Fosters a culture of development by dedicating time to direct reports; proactively sets goals and provides feedback for the personal growth of the team.

Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in retail leadership.

A passion for the brand and/or a connection to the local fitness community.

Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
