Key Responsibilities:
Recruit and retain retail merchandisers through effective training and development.

Manage team performance metrics to ensure associates meet merchandising standards set by clients.

Collaborate with client representatives to conduct in-store training and development sessions for team members.

Assign merchandisers to retail locations and maintain work schedules for direct reports.

Complete timely and accurate reporting, including recaps, audits, itineraries, timekeeping, expenses, and other required documentation.

Build strong relationships with members of the Client and Talent Acquisition teams.

Travel may be required up to 75%.

Qualifications:
2+ years of merchandising experience (preferably in the CPG sector)

1 to 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience

Home office required with the ability to travel at least 75% of the time

Proven ability to hire, train, and develop associates to create an effective team

Strong skills in building cross-functional relationships with peers and business leaders

Ability to present information to store management and participate in meetings with business partners

Must be available to work overnight shifts, Sunday through Thursday, with occasional Fridays as needed.

Essential Job Duties:

Team Management

Train retail merchandisers and ensure they are equipped to perform all assigned responsibilities. Create and manage performance metrics to ensure associates meet client-established merchandising standards.

Partner with client representatives to conduct in-store training and development sessions for team members.

Assign merchandisers to retail locations and maintain work schedules for direct reports.

Conduct store audits to ensure merchandisers are effectively performing their tasks and meeting all standards.

Merchandising Support


Support team members by ensuring all aspects of the merchandising process align with client and customer objectives. Conduct periodic distribution audits and process daily reports as necessary.


Administrative Responsibilities:

Complete timely and accurate recaps, itineraries, timekeeping, expenses, and other required reports.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Direct Reports

Hire, retain, train, coach, guide, direct, and develop direct reports using company-wide processes, tools, and resources.

Indirect Reports

May delegate work to others and provide guidance, direction, and mentoring to indirect reports.

Travel and Driving Requirements:

Travel is not an essential duty of this job. However, driving is a key function of this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education Level:
(Required) High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience:

2-4 years of experience in merchandising

1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Skill in supervising, including delegating responsibility, training, and evaluating performance

Ability to direct, lead, coach, and develop personnel

Strong interpersonal skills

Excellent prioritization skills

Ability to visualize and strategically plan objectives and goals

Strong oral presentation skills

Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Word, Excel, and Internet usage

Environmental & Physical Requirements:

Field / Administrative Requirements

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work may be performed in an office, field, retail store, or warehouse environment.

Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each workday engaging in considerable physical activity, including lifting and/or pushing up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and may require working in extremely cold conditions (i.e., refrigerated and freezer sections). Travel and driving are also required. Proper safety practices must be followed when handling products and/or cooking.
